NAR Settlement Explained (And it's NOT WHAT YOU THINK!)

Recently, I shared a video on my YouTube channel about the proposed National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement that came out of their class action lawsuit, talking to real estate agents in that video. And it sparked a firestorm of emotions! 

The backlash was immediate and fierce, with people saying things in the comments like, “My realtor didn't do anything.”, “You guys are liars.”, “You are lazy.”, “Boohoo, complaining that you work so hard you make way too much money for what you do!” - all of the comments.

The proposed settlement discussed how real estate commissions will be handled going forward. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre referred to these commissions as “junk fees.” 

Wow, these are junk fees, really. They are payments for services rendered, the same way you would pay for any other person who provides professional services.
